New Here? You’re Welcome.
Come as you are. We’re glad you’re here.
At Fish Creek United, there’s a place for everyone.
Whether you’re exploring faith, looking for community, or just curious about church today, you’re welcome here exactly as you are.
What to Expect on Sundays
Our worship service lasts about an hour and includes music, prayer, scripture, and a thoughtful message. You’ll experience a relaxed, come-as-you-are atmosphere where everyone belongs. Expect to hear inspiring stories, join in singing, and have space to reflect, pray, and connect with others. After the service, coffee, snacks, and conversation provide a chance to meet new friends and be welcomed into the Fish Creek community.

For All Ages & Stages
At Fish Creek, every age has a place to grow and belong. Children begin worship with their families and, after Children’s Time, head to Children’s Church for stories, crafts, and games in a safe, welcoming space. Teens join the Youth Group, which comes together during the service and continues learning, connecting, and exploring faith alongside caring leaders. From children to youth to adults, everyone is encouraged to engage, learn, and experience God’s love in meaningful ways.
What to Wear
Come as you are! Some wear casual clothes, others dress up a little. The focus is on being together, not on your outfit.
Parking & Accessibility
We have plenty of parking on site, including accessible spots. Our building is fully accessible, with ramps, and accessible washrooms.
After the Service
The worship service doesn’t end when the last hymn is sung — it continues in conversation, coffee, and community. Every Sunday after worship, we gather in the Narthex (lobby) for refreshments, snacks, and a chance to connect.
It’s a relaxed space where you can:
Meet new faces and catch up with friends
Ask questions about the service or church life
Learn about upcoming groups and events
Watch kids and youth run off some energy while adults chat
Sometimes you’ll also find special activities after worship — from potluck lunches and fundraisers, to seasonal celebrations that bring our whole community together.
In other words: don’t rush off. We’d love for you to stay, share a coffee, and be part of the conversation.
